The white witch
A friend of mine recently texted me and said that the White Witch has descended upon Wellington! I was a little upset. I thought that her boss or some other lady had been really mean to her. "OMG, what happened?" I asked. She replied "because it's always winter and never Christmas."
Clever analogy. It does feel like Narnia only a little worse coz there's no snow. But it is definately freezing and there is no Christmas. In fact, there's no public holiday for months. This feels never ending.
